Named for the Piedmont city in the Lombardy region of Northern Italy, Ristorante Bergamo (Reese-tor-on-tay Bear-gah-moe)
has been a destination for true Italian foodies since its much anticipated opening in 1986.

For over 30 years, Chef/Owner and native Bergamasco Nello Gioia has built a stellar reputation with his modern interpretation of classic Northern Italian cuisine. Using fresh ingredients, home grown organic herbs and an intrinsic knowledge and love of authentic Italian ingredients, Chef Nello has made his mark on the regional culinary scene and beyond. His love of all tastes and ingredients from his native country make Ristorante Bergamo an oasis of Italian sensibilities in the charming southern American city of Greenville, South Carolina.
